Lovely cottage in a rural location, but just a short drive to Matlock. The cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard, and is extremely cosy and comfortable. It has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday.

Great cottage, clean, very modern and plenty of space to relax as a family. Ideal location to explore the Peak District. I would certainly recommend eating out at the Gate inn in Tansley. Will definitely be booking this cottage again.

A great little retreat to find, tastefully decorated and very clean, definitely recommend and will look to return. Well equipped, even down to dog bowls and doggy shampoo which was a lovely touch if needed. Wasn’t expecting it to be located on the road as it was, but with a big private gate and not too much traffic it was all ok and very easy to find nearby walks or drive out to explore further. Had read previous reviews about taking toilet rolls which we did but otherwise everything you need for a few days escaping has been provided and it was all very clean and welcoming. A lot of hard work and care has gone into making this lovely retreat.

Peaceful , tasteful , immaculate , well equipped and comfortable lodge

Absolutely stunning farmhouse.Within good reach of some wonderful walks, Bakewell and Chatsworth.House had absolutely everything you would want and was a joke away from home for a week. Underfloor heating was amazing and Netflix included was great for the evenings. Local pub called The Gate Inn is a half mile walk away and does fabulous food.

Lovely clean, modern and comfortable cottage. Great space for our family to stay in.Great location as away from it all which is what we wanted. Great local walks in walking distance from the cottage and lots more to explore a little car drive away. The cottage was warm and cosy especially with the lovely log burner gong. Would definitely revisit, a real gem which we were lucky to find.

One of the most comfortable cottages we’ve stayed in (we’ve stayed in a lot). Fully equipped modern kitchen. The air conditioning and ice maker was total luxury during the hot weather. The cottage has real homely feel to it.
